As part of our RE this term, we have been learning lots about the many Hindu Gods. A core belief of Hinduism is that one God, Brahman, can exist in three forms; these three Gods, as well as several others, play an important role in the lives of many Hindus.
The Snowdrops, Tulips and Bluebells have done some superb research, reading and problem solving in this week’s RE lesson. They looked at the characteristics of various Hindu Gods and had to decide which Gods would be best at answering certain prayers e.g. if someone wanted more money, they might pray to the God of wealth, Lakshmi.
This task required the children to read about key features and skills of each God, then match these to a particular scenario. Everyone did a great job and learn lots about many Gods!
