This week, we have continued to focus on self portraits. We looked at our features in a mirror before using paint to produce our self portraits. After observing the children and discovering that some of them reenacted going to the hairdressers, we have turned our role play area into a beauty salon/hairdressers. It has been very popular and has encouraged the children to interact with other, producing some wonderful conversations and language. We made the most of the glorious weather today and experimented with water during our outdoor session.
