We have had another busy week in nursery. We took part in Anti-bullying week by wearing and making a pair of odd socks. We also focused on the story of Elmer to celebrate being different, yet equal. We designed an elephant and made Elmer books. During our outdoor session today, shared the story, We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt and explored our school grounds while hunting for leaves. We enriched our vocabulary by describing the leave that we found. We found speckled, multi-coloured, tiny, jagged and pointy leaves. Some of us drew around the leaves using chalk. We also went on a shape hunt this week and managed to independently find a variety of shapes in the outdoor environment.
