This week we have focussed on celebrating Diwali and Bonfire night. We discussed the fact that fireworks were often used to celebrate both Diwali and Bonfire night. We produced some beautiful firework painting both inside and outdoors using a variety of methods. We produces Rangoli patterns on the computer, at the maths area and on the painting easel. We also made Diva lamps from clay and decorated them with sequins. The children will take their Diva lamps home on Monday as they are still drying. Some children extended their learning at the playdough table and independently made a Diva lamp using playdough!
