Robins had a fantastic day on Tuesday at Shipley Art Gallery. We saw the original sculpture of the Angel of the North, created by Antony Gormley. We learned lots of new facts about the artist and the Angel of the North itself. The children practised drawing different versions of the Angel before creating their own sculptures in groups. We were very tired on the bus home but lots of the children said it was the best day EVER.
