This week Nightingales have been learning how to measure accurately. They started by measuring simple lines and progressed to measuring objects around the classroom.
Today they worked with their partners to measure parts of their bodies.
They learned some new vocabulary such as circumference, length, width and height.
They had to be super careful to make sure they were measuring in centimetres and not inches!
They have also been putting their new skills to use this week in science and preparing for their DT project next week. We may have some future builders and joiners in Year 2!
