The children in the Reception classes an in Key Stage 1 thoroughly enjoyed watching “Monday’s Child”, a play directed by Darren Cheek. The play tells the story of the remembering and memories between an old woman and a little girl who sang, played, danced and dressed up. The play explored how people grow old and the difficulties some people have remembering the past. All of our children thoroughly enjoyed the play. Some children took part in workshops ran by the actors. The workshops explored memories and special memory boxes.
