In Nightingales we have been reading Julia Donaldson’s book ‘The Highway Rat’. Yesterday we wrote expanded noun phrases to describe the appearance and the character of the Highway Rat.
Today we have been detectives asking questions to find out more about the criminal who has been terrorising the other characters in the story.
