As you’ll see in another post, World Book Day was celebrated enthusiastically by staff and children at Windy Nook this week!
3rd March is a day to revel in a love of books and reading, to celebrate the amazing places books can take us and to share our favourite stories. The children certainly got to do all of these things!
We were kindly visited by Mr Atkinson from WH Smith who gave each child in the school a free book. We’d like to once again thank him for his generosity. Every one also received a £1 token to their £1 book for World Book Day. Get yours before the offer runs out on 27th March!
Making book bunting, doing quizzes, sharing books and going on scavenger hunts – we did it all!
We’d like to again thank parents and carers too for helping make World Book Day so special for the children.
