Article 12: you have the right to an opinion and to be listened to.
Article 13: You have the right to find out things and share what you think with others, by talking, drawing, writing or in any other way unless it harms or offends other people.
Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.
This half term our topic is geography looking at the differences between Windy Nook and Ghana. To start off the new topic the children had a selection of different flags and name cards of countries. Their task was to work in their group to correctly match them. They had 1 minute before the time bomb would go off.
The children then found out about the seven continents and five oceans of the world. Using a map of the world they were able to locate and label some of these as well as locating Windy Nook in the UK and Ghana in Africa. The children are very excited to learn more about Windy Nook and Ghana this half term.
