For the last two weeks, the children in Tulips have been applying their decimals knowledge to solve money problems. They have added and subtracted different amounts to calculate spending and change. The children have also solved word problems and test style questions. At the start of the week children found multi-step questions tricky but they have showed great resilience and perseverance throughout. Today, the children applied their knowledge of money to solve real life problems at the Windy Nook Café. The children were given different tasks based around a café. They had to work out the total cost of orders, calculate change and solve problems. All of the children worked super hard and really enjoyed their task. Well done Tulips!
