In Tulips the children have been revising their rounding knowledge. They began by watching their favourite video… The Rounding Rap to recap the steps needed to round numbers. From here children answered lots of different questions rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100, 1000 and whole number. They then played a rounding game aiming to beat their partner at filling the rounded circles. To play children each rolled a dice to get a number, The children needed to use these numbers to create a decimal number for example 3.4 or 4.3. They then rounded these to the nearest whole number and placed it in the corresponding circle. The first partner to fill their circles won. The children had great fun and showed an excellent knowledge of rounding. Well done Tulips!
