This week, the Snowdrops, Bluebells and Tulips have been considering the importance of family.
For their RE lesson, each class learned about the values and roles in a traditional Hindu family, as well as reflecting on what makes their own relatives important. As part of this, the children played a party game where the name of someone in their family was written on a sticky note. This note was stuck on their forehead and they had to guess the person – based on a description of their role within the family.
The children then moved on to making a family tree, with each person represented and what that family member means to each child.
