LKS2 Take a Rainforest Trip

Yesterday, Years 3 and 4 enjoyed a superb trip to the Winter Gardens in Sunderland. Children got to visit the tropical rainforest conservatory and recap some of the great knowledge they have learned about the climate, plants and animal life of the rainforest.

Children also enjoyed a workshop on the water cycle and had a chance to explore the museum exhibits and learn about the history of the region with displays on geology, coal, ship building and animal life.
