Owls spent the day at Washington Wetlands linked to their topic about habitats. A very excited class started the trip pond dipping and looking for different creatures using nets and magnifying glasses. Then we had the lovely experience of watching the otters and flamingos being fed. Next it was time for lunch. After that the children had a workshop learning all about the different animals around the world and their habitats. They were even lucky enough to hold some animals bones, skin and fur. Finally they went on a lego hunt around the grounds looking for different creatures. They ended their day having some downtime on the field. Going home was very quiet on the coach as they were all so tired from a fun packed day!
