We have had another super busy week! We finished our Stick Man artwork and computer pictures as well as our usual tasks like, making play dough and participating in Squiggle While You Wiggle. We used our play dough to form some numbers as well as making Stick Man and his family tree. To commemorate the Queen’s Jubilee, we all made some fabulous crowns to wear and parade in front of the whole school. We also painted Union Jack flags and used real sticks as the mast/handle which we obtained during a stick hunt. We discussed the part in the Stick Man story when Stick Man says, “I’m not a mast for a silly old flag!” and acted out scenes from the story with our sticks. We all thoroughly enjoyed eating an ice cream from the visiting ice cream van and the children who stayed for lunch ate their food outside picnic style! A great day all round!
