Today year 5 went on a health and wellbeing trip to Gibside. The trip focused on ways to manage and improve our health and wellbeing. The children took part in 4 different workshops- meditation, sound it out, meet a tree and setting goals. Each workshop looked at a different area if wellbeing and gave the children some good coping strategies as well as some challenges based around team work. Year 5 had a great day out and really enjoyed immersing themselves in the outdoors for the day.
