This week, the Snowdrops, Bluebells and Tulips have been investigating electrical circuits.
The children studied circuit diagrams and made predictions about whether bulbs would light up or not. They learned what is needed for an electrical circuit to work, why the components need to form a circuit so electrical current can flow, and learned about the positive and negative terminals on a battery.
After making predictions as to whether their circuit diagrams were complete or incomplete, each class tested out the circuits by assembling components and observing the results.
