On Friday, children in KS1 and KS2 had a fantastic day taking part in their sports day. With some help from Gateshead School Sport Partnership, the children competed in 6 different events. The events were split into scored and non-scored events and the children won points for their house teams. Teachers also nominated a boy and a girl per class for showing great sporting attitude and these children were given a special medal and 10 extra points! The competition was close, but Emeralds managed to claim the winning spot. It was a brilliant day and children and adults all had a great time.
