We have continued to focus on the story, Mr Gumpy’s Motor Car. We finished our fabulous car paintings, continued to design cars on the computer and make cars using play dough. We also made some delicious edible cars using fruit and salad, using cocktail sticks to hold them together. In maths we used a virtual dice on the computer to generate a number and count out the corresponding resources. During phonics we looked at some classroom items and worked out their initial sounds. During our outdoor Friday session we pretended that our outdoor toy cars had been stuck in the mud like in the story of Mr Gumpy’s Motor Car and we washed the ‘mud ‘ off.
