School Games Mark Platinum Award!

Each year, our school applies for the school games mark, which is a nationally recognised value mark for PE and school sport. Over the last couple of years, the school games mark hasn’t ran due to Covid. However, prior to Covid we had achieved Gold in the school games mark. This year, we have had a huge push on PE and school sport and tried to get as many different children involved in school sport and competitions as possible. We have specifically focused on inclusion within sport, looking at disability sport in cross-curricular activities and through our School Games Day. Because of everything we have done this year, I am delighted that we have achieved the Platinum Award in this year’s school games mark. This is something we haven’t received before but are very proud of. We hope to continue to achieve this next year and ensure as many children as possible are involved in PE and school sport!
