This week, children in year 5 and 6 took part in some orienteering in the nature park organsied by B Outdoors. Some of the year 6s and staff had done the course last year, so Andy from B outdoors ensured that he made it even more challenging than the year before! The children had to work together in teams using their map skills, orienteering and navigation. The markers were particulalry hard to spot as they were camouflaged. All teams in year 5/6 were timed and could pick up time penalties for incorrect answers. In the end, Miss Crowe’s team won with a record time of 42 minutes and 10 seconds! It was a fantastic day of outdoor learning. Well done everyone.
