This afternoon, a team of girls from Year 6 went out to a football tournament at the Gateshead Power League. After multiple training sessions with Mr Mawson, the girls had improved their confidence and ability to work as a team. In their group, they played 4 matches in total. They started off string with a 5-0 victory over Kelvin Grove. We then unfortunately had 2 losses against Bill Quay and Dunston Hill but managed to claw a draw against Harlow Green. Overall the girls managed to finish 3rd within their group.
