This week in nursery we have focused on ourselves and completed some beautiful self portrait paintings. We have continued to focus on maths, literacy, ICT, speaking and listening skills, independence, problem solving and physical development during ‘Special Helper’ activities. We are delighted to see how much the children’s confidence and skills have developed in such a short amount of time. During our Friday outdoor session we experimented with a variety of materials like; pasta, rice, water, dried spices. We put the materials into bottles to make shaker instruments to use on our outdoor stage. We also made a campsite/fire circle and sat around it to sing the songs that we have learned so far this half term.
