This week we have completed our calendars, made reindeer food to sell at the school fair, practised our Christmas sing-a-long and made a special hat to wear for our sing-a-long. We have incorporated maths and phonics into our Christmas preparations. For example we counted the amount of scoops of reindeer food that we put into the bags and discussed and planed which hat we wanted to make. We have continued to open our advent calendar each day and look for the appropriate number that corresponds with the date. On Thursday morning it was so cold that our outdoor area was covered in frost and ice. We had great fun experimenting with tools to see which ones could break and crack the ice.
