The last couple of weeks have involved several music lessons in Year 5 and 6 alongside our singing practices for the Church service. Our focus this term was on flash mobs and how a performance can grow from the start to the end by inputting more instruments/sounds. Children were able to practice body percussions to build harmony and created lyrics to songs. We worked together to create a final performance where we had different groups inputting different sounds e.g. singing, dancing, xylophones and a beat of body percussion. Children thoroughly enjoyed it and created a great final result! .
