Our journey towards achieving the Artsmark award has begun. This award (accredited by Arts Council England) is the only creative quality standard for schools and will allow us to reflect on our curriculum for subjects such as art and design and music. Over the next year, we will be considering our curriculum, coverage and how we can ensure every child in our school gets to explore their creativity. We hope this process will further support the health and wellbeing of pupils, alongside engaging and motivating them. We also aim to be able to celebrate all of this hard work with a gallery towards the end of the year to show off all the great work children get to do in school!
