The last couple of weeks have involved several music lessons in Year 5. Our theme this term was, ‘At the movies’. We looked at how music and sound effects can affect how audiences perceive the film and also the feelings they have. We started off by using body percussion to match actions on the films and progressed to using a variety of instruments and voices to create and match a specific theme such as suspense, love and comedy.
