Eggciting Science in KS1!

We all know the story of Humpty Dumpty. Today in KS1 the children were given a challenge. In groups they were given a different material to protect an egg when dropped from a one metre height. We talked about the properties of the materials before predicting which material would work the best as protection. The children had lots of ideas for ways to use the materials effectively when wrapping the egg.
