Medicine Safety in LKS2

In PSHE lessons, the children in years 3 and 4 have been learning about medicine safety. The children discussed what happens when we feel poorly and how we might deal with this. They knew that sometimes we take medicine to feel better. The children then learned about the difference between prescription and non-prescription medications. After that, they had the opportunity to look at different medicine packets, read the instructions and identify what dose they would need to take. The children then discussed and answered a range of scenarios linked to medicine safety.
