On Tuesday, for Valentines Day we drew pictures of people who we love or are special to us.We have continued to focus on Space throughout the week. It has been wonderful to observe the children independently drawing and making rocket and planet themed creations as well as having conversations that involve accurate space facts. We thoroughly enjoyed icing some biscuits with appropriate colours to represent a planet in the solar system. We ate our planet biscuits during our moon party along with space themed food which included; Saturn rings, chocolate stars and planet spheres. Our moon party celebrated and concluded our space topic and replicated the moon party which featured in one of our focused stories, QPootle5. We even made our own table covering by drawing astronauts, rockets, planets and space structures on some large pieces of paper.
