This term in KS2, we have been developing our knowledge of gymnastics. In year 3 and 4 children recapped some simple balances and methods of travel and started to learn about what symmetry meant. In year 5 and 6, they progressed their learning further by including partner balances which used counter tension and counter balancing. Both phases worked hard over the 6 weeks to build up a routine which they performed at the end of the unit.
