A message from the project manager (Emma) at Embells Community support project which is based in Fewster square, Leam Lane, Gateshead. We provide a range of support services I have attached a couple of posters with more information. We are based in Leam Lane but we do cover areas around Gateshead.
Every Friday we hold a Community pop up market and food pantry from 11.30am – 2.30pm. We can also provide free emergency food parcels , clothing pack, household items and other essential items. Our support services are open for everyone and they can self refer or others can request the support.
On a Tuesday we run a community drop in / coffee morning from 11am – 1pm. We provide free refreshments and snacks and this is the time we can work closely with the client to get them the support they need. If we are unable to support with the request then we do signpost to relevant organisations. We have a debt advisor every fortnight.
Throughout the school holidays we provide free family funday’s between 11am – 3pm our next sessions are at Easter. We bring families together to enjoy fun with fitness, games, crafts and we provide a free hot lunch, refreshments and snacks for all that attend. We use all social media platforms and share all our events on our pages.
If you have any questions please do let me know and please feel free to share our services and our contact information to anyone that may benefit from our services and community market. As the project grows and more funding becomes available we will be expanding the services and drop in sessions that we provide.
Many Thanks
Emma
