KS1 have enjoyed taking part in an after school history club. The children enjoyed making their very own Motte and Bailey castles linked to our topic ‘King of the Castle’. Over several weeks the children created the bailey with shredded paper and glue, a motte using paper mache and a plant pot and finally using corrugated cardboard to make fences and a bridge. They all had an amazing time and the end results were amazing!
