On Thursday afternoon, our school councillors met with two representatives from Northern Gas, after a whole school assembly. They took part in a workshop called Hydrogen Home and learned about how we can be more energy efficient both at home and at school. The children created an action plan that they could implement at school and at home. Their ideas included spying on teachers to see if they were turning off their lights, walking more frequently instead of taking the car and making energy efficient changes such as LED light bulbs.
