This afternoon three representatives from our school council met at Caedmon Primary school with children from various primary schools from Gateshead. The children discussed what school council looks like in their school and what they want to achieve as school councillors. They were then given a tour of the school. The children were amazing representatives and had a great afternoon!
Article 12: you have the right to an opinion and to be listened to.
Article 15: You have the right to choose your own friends and join or set up groups, as long as it isn’t harmful to others.
Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.
