This week, we had a visit from Lynn and Ken at St Albans Church as part of our Christianity topic. They talked about the many ways they help people at St Albans Church and how they worship as Christians.
They share stories from the Bible and help to look after our planet through recycling and gardening. They also raise money for lots of different charities, including foodbanks. They hold summer and toddler groups, as well as organising litter picking with the people in the community.
Lynn and Ken shared ‘The Good Samaritan’ story with us and some of us helped tell the story through role play.
Next week, we are going to visit St Albans Church ourselves where we will be looking for artefacts around the Church and finding out what they are used for. We will also be listening to Rev Danie talk to us about her role in the Church. We are very excited!
