On Wednesday morning, our school councillors visited Northern Gas and Power’s Hydrogen Home. The children participated in a workshop learning about fossil fuels, hydrogen production and the importance of reducing our carbon footprints. They thought about ways they could help the environment both in school and at home. As part of our visit, the children were able to look inside two homes powered by hydrogen gas and were some of the first people to see the appliances at work. The children had amazing ideas and were super role models for our school. Well done school council!
