We made some more shimmering playdough this week following our playdough recipe. We carefully measured and counted the appropriate quantities of ingredients and practised good turn taking and patience while waiting for our turn. We have continued to focus on repeating patterns in maths using both indoor and outdoor materials. We worked on resilience and determination during a self-help session and practiced taking off and putting on our socks and shoes. We talked about making 2 as we paired our shoes together and described our shoes, comparing them to each others as we looked for similarities and differences. We completed some drawings of ourselves for our This is Me display. It was wonderful to see how much more detail the children now put into their self-portraits and theĀ progress they have made since September. During our Friday outdoor session we talked about the weather and the fact that it had rained a lot this week. We examined our school grounds for signs of rainy weather and discovered that the grass was really wet and muddy. We found some wonderful muddy puddles to jump in!
