Last week, UKS2 had a visit from Vikki from Northumbria Police’s Prevention Through Education Team. She came to talk to use all about knife crime and the potential implications of carrying knives in the community. The children learnt about the age of criminal responsibility and how this could affect them should they make poor decisions around knives. All of the children were incredibly sensible and understood how important it is to stay safe and never carry knives now or in the future. Well done Year 5 and 6.

Article 27: You have the right to food, clothing, a safe place to live and to have your basic needs met. You should not be disadvantaged so that you can’t do many of the things other kids can do.
