Last week, children in key stages 1 and 2 had a visit from Rachel Hibbard from Dogs Trust. She delivered a whole school assembly where she showed children how to approach a dog to pet it and what to do if an unfamiliar dog approaches them. Children then went off into individual workshops to learn more about the behaviour of dogs and how to spot signals in their body language to show how they are feeling. Everyone had a great time and learnt something new (even the adults!)
