A warm welcome to our new nursery pupils and also a warm welcome back to our existing pupils who have been friendly and supportive towards our new friends. Our new children have impressed us at how happily they have separated from their families and we are all beginning to get to know each other and bond as a new group. We had a wonderful session with News Ted on Monday and shared some of our Christmas news. Our focus this half term is Winter and we have enjoyed listening to Winter themed stories during snack time within our key worker groups. We have produced some winter themed pictures on our interactive white board, at the writing table and the painting easel. We have practiced counting by counting each other during lining up times. On Friday we participated in some ring games and songs in our school hall and practised our self-help skills by taking off and putting on our socks and shoes.
