This week, Bluebells, Tulips and Snowdrops have been making sandwiches. The children started off by testing prototypes and practising skills such as slicing, grating, tearing and chopping. They sampled different sandwiches and then decided on the ingredients they would like to include in their own. We also discussed the importance of food hygiene identified the need for our sandwiches to contain healthy ingredients with a good mix of food groups. Each child then made their sandwich and every adult was impressed by their effort, skill and enthusiasm.
