This term, UKS2 have been learning about evolution and inheritance in Science. They have studied dogs and how they have adapted and been bred over time to suit different jobs and uses. They then moved on to look at how birds have adapted to their environments and diets over many many years by carrying out an investigation. The children used different implements to pick up a variety of different ‘foods’ to test which shaped beak would be best for each food type. They had great fun and were able to see adaptation in action!
