In art this half term the children have enjoyed using paint and pattern. They began the topic by looking at primary colours on a colour wheel and how those primary colours can be mixed together to make secondary colours. They also created warm/cool shades and considered light/dark colours using Sonia and Robert Delaunay art work as inspiration. They mixed colours together to make different shades linked to feelings. The children then developed a sketch for a water colour painting of a bouquet of flowers inspired by another Jill Charuk.
