Seedlings and much more!

We have had an excellent first week back after the Easter holidays. We have welcomed some new friends who have embraced nursery life and made us really proud. During our maths sessions we have focused on sorting. We categorised items into groups of straight sides/curved sides, big/small and colour. We have tended to our sunflower seedlings that we planted just before Easter. Unfortunately, the strong winds during the Easter holidays blew our greenhouse over resulting in some of our seedlings being damaged. However, we still have some healthy ones which are growing taller every day. During our outdoor Friday session we planted the apple seeds that we had put in the fridge to germinate over the Easter holidays. We were delighted to see that some of the seeds have sprouted. We will monitor their progress closely.
