This half term, in UKS2, we have been looking at forces as part of our science curriculum. We began by learning about how gravity was discovered and looked at how it was measured using a newton meter. We then looked at air resistance and how this could be sometimes useful for everyday life. For our investigation, we tried to make the perfect parachute. Children worked in groups to make 3 different sized parachutes to test which one was the most successful and created the most air resistance.
