As part of our geography topic on tropical rainforests, Years 3 and 4 visited Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens.
The children loved their workshop which educated them on the many different animal species of the Amazon Rainforest. Each class also got to take part in quizzes based on what they had learned in their workshop.
During our exploration time, we went on a scavenger hunt through the Winter Gardens and saw the many and varied tropical plants on show.
Next half term, our topic is the Anglo-Saxons; it was great to look around this exhibition in the museum.
