Outdoor Activities in Nursery

This week we have made the most of the fine weather and spent a lot of our time outdoors. Our tomato plants are thriving and we have separated and re-potted some of them. We played a matching game on the interactive white board and paired different modes of transport. During our maths sessions we invented stories about some bears in a playground and added and subtracted the bears. We had great fun building the playground with bricks. During our outdoor Friday session we spent some time at our top field exploring. We found lots of interesting items so we took photographs of them to put in our Book of Wonder. We also had fun participating in some parachute games. During the afternoon we made our own kites as it was really windy and we left some overripe bananas in our nursery garden to hopefully attract butterflies.
