Yesterday, all of year 5 went along to Beamish to present their cranes for the ‘Crank it Up’ challenge. The children had to explain how they made their crane and test it with a panel of engineering judges. They also had the opportunity to take part in a rocket building workshop and learnt all about the history of ice cream! In some of our free time, we were able to explore parts of the museum including getting a sneak peek of the new cinema! It was a fantastic day out!
